Daily Pooja Schedule & Rituals

We invite devotees to participate in our carefully performed daily rituals. Each ritual is conducted with devotion, reverence, and in accordance with ancient traditions. Below is our daily schedule:

Morning Rituals

  • Nirmalya darshanam – 05:30 AM: Welcome to the fresh sacred atmosphere.
  • Ganapathi Homam – 05:35 AM – 06:00 AM : Invoking Lord Ganapathi for auspiciousness.
  • Abhishekam – 06:05 AM – 06:30 AM: Abhishekam with ghee, offering sanctified purity.
  • Usha Pooja – 07:30 AM: Morning worship including aartis & mantras.
  • Madhyahna Pooja – 10:00 AM – 10:30 AM: Midday worship, blessings & offerings.
  • Temple Closes – 10:35 AM for maintenance break and cleansing.

Evening Rituals

  • Temple Reopens – 05:30 PM
  • Deeparadhana – 06:30 PM Evening aarti with lamps.
  • Athazha Pooja – 08:00 PM: Night prayer before closing.
  • Harivarasanam Chanting – 08:20 PM: Hymn to Lord Ayyappa.
  • Temple Closes – 08:30 PM and Prasada Vitharanam – 08:35 PM

During special festival days, timings adjust slightly to include additional rituals:

  • Nirmalya darshanam begins at 05:35 AM, followed by Special Abhishekam at 06:05 AM – 06:30 AM.
  • Evening schedule includes Bhajana (7:00 PM 8:45 PM), followed by Padipattu, Harivarasanam at 08:50 PM, and Mahaprasadam serving thereafter
